There are various positions in the Police department. If you have to become a constable specifically then there are some eligibility criteria for that among which the Physical standards, age parameters, medical standards etc. are checked. Vacancies are released through the SSC (Staff Selection Commission). For CISF, CRPF, BSF & SSB a common recruitment test of constable is conducted by SSC. For career guidance, you may reach out to coaching centers that provide information related to police departments or you may also get the information from certain YouTube channels as well.

Given your experience working as a receptionist and your educational background in psychology, sociology, and history, it is imperative that you enroll in a course that piques your interest and provides promising job opportunities.

Choose a college for your BA or Diploma programme based on reputation for providing high-quality instruction, opportunities for real-world training, and assistance with job placement. It may be helpful to look into universities that provide respectable social work and related programs, such as

  • Jamia Millia Islamia
  • Madras School of Social Work
  • Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).
