We all know it's really an important decision of our life because this is the first step towards our final destination. First of all know your skills, capability and interest. Both the fields are way different from each other. Science is more technical and commerce is more practical. Both the fields have tough competition with in them. Ivy Leagues are quite competitive as you might know. They not only prefer students with good academics but also students who have a well-developed portfolio. In addition to excelling in academics, you must have solid extracurriculars, state or national level projects, sports, writing, music whatever is of your interest so that universities know you have a solid profile and won't go wasted. You can target a score above 1450.

For general category students, the cut-off percentile fixed by JoSAA is 89.75. Unfortunately your percentile at 87.4 is not meeting required level & hence I am afraid you will not be able to register with JoSAA.
