If you want to become a Commercial Pilot then you can join Flying Club to learn flying after PCM at +2 stage. You can also join Indian Air Force Flying branch by appearing for NDA examination after+2 or by appearing for CDS exam. Both exams are conducted by UPSC .

Yes, you can be a software engineer.
IT (Information Technology) is a growing field, in India, and is looked upon, as one of the industries to provide jobs.

Hi Riyas,
Salary is a function of various factors - I.e. (I) the institute where you have completed your B.Tech + M.Tech. e.g. a graduate from a top institute will command a higher salary. (ii) Your work experience - organization and type of work profile (iii) city - a metropolitan city will have higher salaries as compared to smaller cities and towns. (iv) Your current organization - I.e. where you will be joining - an MNC usually has higher salaries as compared to other organizations. (v) Your work profile I.e. Manager/ AVP, etc. Thus one cannot allocate a figure.

Since you are MCA qualified it is advisable for you to stick to your field and is required pursue MBA in system or IT. An MBA from a good institute will give you an option of joining a good IT/ ITES company and build a good career.
if at your MCA stage you get placement in a good company then you could also start working and then after some years pursue MBA options depending on your work area

You need to first decide what career you want to pursue & what are your interest areas. keeping this in mind you should pursue a specialisation.
An Electrical engineer with an MBA in finance can have a good career in Investment Banking,Equity research. Whereas with an MBA in marketing he could explore a career in Sales /marketing in a host of industries that deal with Electrical/Electronic components .
