Robotic is a multi dicipilanary branch where both concepts and understanding of Mechanical, embedded Electronics and programming is required. Generally students do either BTech Mechanical or Electronics and then do MS/ MTech in Robotic Engineering.

Both the fields have good value and knowledge if you want to pursue Actuarial science but according to my suggestion you would go for maths hons because math subject having a crucial role in Actuarial science field.

Dear Naresh,
You can start your career into different fields like;
Banking with M.com or Mba in finance,
teaching with B.ed & M.ed
development or social work with MSW or MA in development
Psychology with MA psychology ( counselling, clinical or organisation behaviour )
You can join Indian army
You can go in foreign language sector
Mass communication
travel & tourism
You can enter into YOGA OR MEDITATION profession after completion of few levels.
You can do MCA if you had math subject upto class 12th and than enter into IT sector.
So choose the field according to your career aim and passion with interest.

Indian BTech degree is recognised in New Zealand. You may check whether your Institute is in approved institutes list of New Zealand. BTech from recongnised Indian Institutes get 10 points while immigrating to New Zealand.

Firstly you need to get into a good engineering college and for that you need to have strong command in physics, chemistry and maths for clearing entrance test then the subjects will depend on which engineering branch you choose
