Dear Murali,
You can apply for the IES exam. The IES remain one of the most sought-after careers for the engineering graduates in India. The exam is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) in order to fulfil the requirements of various central government departments like Railways, Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Water Commission, Power Sector, Ordnance, Defence Sector , Border Roads and so on.
Often graduates from Aeronauticval engineering, mechanical engineering and other related fields are also considered. For more, I would request Dr.Goutam Chatterjee to share his valuable inouts.

Art directors usually begin as entry-level artists in advertising, publishing, design, and motion picture production firms.

Both the courses are good at their places. Since you are a commerse students so MBA would be a better choice for you and MBA is the good deal to go with.Because it is the better graduate course by which you can get job in good MNC's.
