You need to have a Masters degree with 55% marks for appearing in UGC NET/JRF. There are no exemptions. However some institute, like IIT enrol CAs directly for PhD. Pl verify with individual institutes.

To become an Arts teacher, you need to have competency and certification in Arts. You need to have a basic degree before going for BEd. If the basic degree is in Fine Arts or such simila discipline, it will be very much preferred. Other wise, you need to have a BA/BSc/BCom and then a government recognised diploma in Art/Commercial Arts/Fine Arts, etc and then a BEd. Good Luck

Hi,
1. If you wish to be a teacher in school, then go for B.ED and crack Teacher Eligibility Test. Eligibility conditions are:
(a) Bachelor's Degree with 50% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+3 or 11+2+2 pattern, or with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate in the 10+2+2 or 11+3 pattern
(b) Having studied at least two subjects at the bachelor's degree level, to be later taken as school teaching subjects
