The following strategy can be helpful in CAT preparation.
1. Reviewing the CAT syllabus: Review the outline of all 3 sections: verbal ability and reading comprehension, data interpretation and logical reasoning, quantitative aptitude and find mini mock tests / online tests that are able to target your weaknesses in each section. Further the weightage given to various components in selection at IIM Bangalore are given below.
1. CAT score : 25%
2. PI : 30%
3. What : 10%
4. Graduation : 10%
5.Class 12th : 5%

Hi,
For admission to the MBA program, a merit list is prepared based on the performance in All-State/ National level scores like CAT/ MAT/ CMAT. Candidates are selected on the basis of their performance in the Entrance Test and Personal Interview. Graduate or Post Graduate in any stream with 50% marks (47.5% marks for SC/ST). Good luck.

It doesn't matter that you have less scored in CAT exam. But, you told me that you have scored a good percentage in your academic. The criteria of our college of taking admission are 40% of the CAT percentile,40% of academics, and 20% of GDPI, this is the criteria for PGDM programme. But if you want to take admission in MBA degree course so you are eligible for that the condition is only one that is you got 60% in your graduation. I hope you get your desired answer.
