Yes, anyone who has scored at least 50% marks in graduation is eligible to give the CAT. And the cutoff for an engineer in IIM-K could be at 99+ percentile. All the best.

CAT is an All-India level MBA entrance exam whose scores are accepted in Tamil Nadu-based colleges too such as IIM Trichy, Great Lakes Chennai etc.

The total number of seats will also be increased by 18 to a total of 480 from this year, said sources. Ultimately, IIM-C aims to raise the EWS (economically backward section) quota to 10% by the 2021-2023 session, by which time the total number of seats will also be capped at 578.
