No, it's better to take CAT exam only after pursuing your graduation because to get a call from IIM, it's necessary.

With 80 percentile in CAT, you can a better B-School than you will get at 91 percentile in CMAT.

Hello,
IMT, Chaziabad doesn't consider CMAT score, it calls students on the basis of CAT score only.

Yes, you are eligible for CAT exam but remember that if you are aiming for IIMs through your CAT score then you must have worked somewhere for 2 years or any strong reason should be there to fill for your gap years.

Going for CAT would be a better option. You may get admission in IIMs if you score a good percentile in CAT.

Your chances of getting IHM-Pusa are less, you might get IHM-Mumbai and you will definitely get IHM-Bangalore, in the second round, you may get Bangalore, fix it. In the third round, if you don't get Pusa, you will get the second best college.
