It is a myth or wrong interpretation. The IISWBM is one of the oldest MBA college of India, and for that you have to score overall 75-80 percentile in CAT to get admission here.

Hello, you would need more than 98% to be part of IIM. Otherwise you may go for tier to colleges with good ROI.

Yes you can still get the admission for your MBA. There are other exams like CMAT is accepted by many good colleges and its not that hard to crack like CAT and XAT. Apart from it there are exams like NMAT and SNAP which you can give to get admission into the prestigious MBA institution.

Yes, you are eligible to take admission in DAV University.
For MBA, admissions the university conducts DAVUMET (DAV University MBA Eligibility Test).

It's the same thing. By 2017 all the IIMs were providing PGDM degree that doesn't mean that from 2018 all the PGDM degrees are of no use. In PGDM, you gain the knowledge of all the subjects from all the streams like finance, marketing, operations, sales, etc., and in the 2nd year, you need to choose your specialisation, whichever field you find interesting.

To apply for CAT and to do further MBA or PGDM, you need to complete your graduation with more than 50% marks.
