BMAT is a merit based exam.
The pattern for entrance exam is- written test comprises of 200 marks. There will be 200 multiple choice questions of one mark each with four alternatives, with single correct or most probable answer. There is no negative marking. No, for getting admitted to Institute of Management Studies, Banaras Hindu University, you have to appear for the CAT exam. If you clear the cutoff of merit list you are through for the further process of admission in MBA.
However, there is another way of getting a MBA degree but that will be done from a different faculty, i.e. Faculty of Commerce but the degree from Institute of Management Studies is valued much higher.

The fee structure is expensive, you have to pay 45000 as college fee which is expensive then in any other college, if you from KCET, it will cost you around one lakh, or of you, from pass. It will cost you up to three lakhs. For management seat, it is different for all the branches.

Hello! With the mentioned CAT score, you have good chances of getting a GD-PI call. The CMAT cutoff has been generally 97 percentile and above, so aim for that score. Good luck!

CAT falls under All India Seats, which do not have any reservations. All India Seats cut offs of all exams for CAP round 3 are- 99.98 percentile (for MMS) and 99.96 percentile (for PGDBM).
