I suppose there are lateral entry programs in many colleges in India, where diploma holders can directly join engg colleges in 2nd year. Then you can get many opportunities, and maybe even better than others.

HelloNo, there is no compensation for the tougher paper because the exam board consider equal standard of all the online & offline papers. You will get marks according to your right answer, there is no comparison between papers.

Hello, the cut off is usually 70-80 percentile to get to the next round. So there is a chance you will get shortlisted.
