You have a thin chance in second round. You might want to try for the 3rd round with any luck. Cutoff for last year 2nd round was 99.5 percentile. But for the last round was 99.2 percentile.

Hello arpit. If you are interested in engineering, i would recommend you to take coaching for JEE in 11th and 12th. However you have other options like B.Sc, Fine arts etc. Being an engineer myself, I would say it is one of the most lucrative fields if pursued from a good college.

Your academic record seems good and so is your percentile score. Admission depends on percentile as well as gdpi performance. A combined score of both determines the list of students that convert. The cutoff is not revealed in the list but genarally its around 90.

If you are trying out to pursue engineering the cbse maths which is a common syllabus mathematics for both science as well as commerce will not do any good because it is just based on basic accounting and some basic physical mathematics.

First of all, ask yourself which stream (science or commerce) is suitable for you.
Presently you have many opportunities in both streams. all of it is depended on your interest.
In science steam there are a plenty of choices on your career. You can divert to any field even out of science.
In commerce stream you can do mainly following higher studies;
-C.A (chartered accountant)
-BBA
-B Com
-Hotel management
-Hospitality diploma courses
-Journalism & mass communication
etc.etc.
Think a lot about both streams. And depending on your dreams select one of them. You find the goal of your life. It will give you the whole energy for your life.
