Hi Mayank,
Depends on your profile, your personal interest and your financial support. If you have very good marks in class 12th you can definitely apply to a Canada college and gain some good international experience. You will also be exposed to new programs, technologies etc. It's your call.

Hi Ishrath,
As your board percentage is 79%, so you are eligible for St. Francis College for Women. But getting a seat in chemistry, applied nutrition will be difficult for you in first round. Although, you can get zoology in first round. You may get nutrition and chemistry in last round.
Best of luck.

Hi,It is difficult to suggest as non-medical is a generic term. What were your subjects? Choose something relevant. Popular subjects for non-medical in general includes Pharmacy, Food and Nutrition, Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Biotechnology, Environmental Science, Agriculture etc. There can be many more. Many colleges offer innovative interdisciplinary programs. Check college websites for more options. See what interests you. Popular colleges which you can see are Humber, Algonquin, Seneca, and George Brown etc. Keep exploring.

A review by a student of the same college is as follows. The fees for BCA is divided in two categories. i.e. University fee and college fee. It is not same for all the colleges. I did BCA from JIMS in 2016. The university fee is INR 40,000 per annum and the college fee of JIMS is 36,000.
In second and third year, you will be exempted from other charges like security, library, ICard etc.
The college fee taken by JIMS, VIPS, IITM, MSIT is almost similar. We can say that it is between 70,000 to 85,000.
If you will go for low rank colleges like CPJ & DIRD, you will get relaxation upto INR 15,000 in annual fees.

As we are living in India, there is too much level of competition I have seen in Science stream. In fact mostly all my friends are in Science stream. You have to face NEET (entrance exam) for achieving admission in Medical College either it is government or private. I think it is most the toughest exam I seen. Many of students waste their parent's money in paying fees in coaching institute for preparing to the NEET. Many of them were drop out and if they missed the 3 times chance to be passed in entrance exam they were totally disappointed. And next is that there is too much fees of medical institute so many students are in compulsion

The admission is purely based on the Tamil Nadu HSC merit list. I got a community rank of 1500, so it was really for me to get a seat here. Cut off matters a lot . Cut off from 197 to 200 will do it to Madras Institute of Technology. Students have to fill the online engineering admission form and the details about counselling will be updated in mails
