Chandigarh University in Mohali is considered a strong choice for undergraduate and postgraduate studies particularly if your primary focus is industry placements, modern infrastructure. However the academic environment is fast-paced and heavily corporate-driven.

Panjab University Chandigarh offers a culturally diverse and inclusive campus. PU welcomes students from all walks of life and the environment is very cooperative. Both, Panjab University and Delhi University are significant government universities. The choice depends on the candidates' requirements. The deciding factors include course, career goals, location, placement aspirations, etc.
While, DU is ideal for UG courses, corporate placements, and diverse exposure. PU is ideal for PG courses in law and pharmacy, and preparation for Govt exams.
Usually, candidates prefer DU because of its tier-one colleges constantly ranked among the top colleges in India as per NIRF.
