The initial shortlisting of candidates will be done on the basis of CAT percentile and in your category it is above 90. So you are meeting the eligibility criteria here. The weightage of CAT percentile is the deciding factor here over other like 10th, 12th, Graduation and work experience etc. The contribution of CAT percentile is 75%, while others are responsible for 25%. Further personal interview and GD are the other activities of selection. So, in my opinion, you a call for admission.

Just do a lot of practices every day. Try to find your weak points and practice them well. If you get any problem in solving questions, try to get help like your teachers, online or any experts. Increase your study time.

No dear, you cannot. Your scores are not up to the mark, besides FMS Delhi takes the cream layer of students being a government-backed institute. Moreover, you need to score 99 percentile and above for converting FMS along with excellent communication skills and amazing subject knowledge. I would suggest that with your class 12th scores being low, try for some other tier 2 or tier 3 B schools.

If you get a good percentile in CAT, near about 90+ then you can make for it even top colleges and then they don't care for other marks. So, prepare hard for it and give your best.

B.Tech will always be in trend, as it is purely a technical degree which makes you eligible for any job or for any further studies. So, you can definitely pursue engineering. But, you should get a degree from a reputed and a good institute. It is just because, you are not giving the proper amount of time to your studies, if you work hard you will clear it. Best of Luck.
