The eligibility depends on the type of course that you wish to pursue. The details of some courses are stated below:
Diploma class 10th pass from a recognised board with minimum 40% marks.
Bachelors Degree: Class 10+2 examination with at least 50% marks.
Post-graduation degree: Bachelors degree from a recognised university with at least 45% marks.
Graduate and PG programmes may also require you to appear in entrance exams such as NCHMCT, AIMA UGAT, E-CHAT, etc.

Commerce and science are the two broad categories. In commerce, you can go for arts/ design, business, finance and banking. In science, you have engineering and medical. NCERT is the best book for preparing boards exam. Apart from that, you can go for reference books like D.C.Pandey and H.C.Verma which are best books to refer. Reference books are only required to try different problems based on single / multiple concepts.
