On inquiring for one of my niece from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that in order to take admission in LPU you have to be eligible and eligibility is The eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 with English and also 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics OR Pass with 60% in Diploma (any stream) (3 years) recognized by Central/ State Govt. (with Mathematics) or equivalent, subject to qualifying marks in NATA 2020 or JEE Main (Paper-II)(80 percentile or above) or qualifying marks in any specially designed aptitude test in Architecture conducted by the competent authority of the Central/ State Governments (as/ if allowed by the statutory body for 2020-21).
You should be happy to know that LPU has been ranked top 80 amongst all private and government institutions by NIRF, MHR, GOI. Not only this, the Engineering institutes have also been ranked top 100 amongst all other Engineering institute which is a matter of proud.
You can join LPU by appearing in LPUNEST which is remotely online proctored test which will be conducted from home due to COVID-19.
I also heard that LPU do offer scholarship to provide financial assistance to the students:
1.On the basis of marks in previous class
2.LPU conducts Lovely professional university national entrance and scholarship test (LPUNEST) on the basis of which student can enhance their scholarship
3.Some national level tests like JEE mains, NATA, NEET, UCEED, CAT, XAT, MAT , CMAT, NMAT, GPAT, GATE etc.
4.Performance on the basis of sports, cultural or co-curricular activities.
5.Board Toppers
6.For Orphan students or person with certain disabilities
7.Defence personnels and central armed police forces(CAPF) dependents
This year I came to know that due to Pandemic, LPU has also floated COVID-19 Frontline Scholarship for the survivors of COVID and for their dependents as well.

TFW is tuition fee waiver. This scheme has been implemented by the government. For meritorious and economically backward students for admission in to universities / university departments, government colleges and self financing universities/ colleges offering engineering/ technology /pharmacy/ architecture courses. To get the benefits of TFW Scheme, the candidate has to submit the income Certificate issued after 31st March from either 'Mamlatdar' or 'Taluka Development Officer (TDO)' or 'Collector (Jan Seva Kendra)' at the time of application form filling (registration for admission).
5% of total seats shall be filled by TFW scheme. Students whose parent's income is less than Rs. 8 Lacs/ annum are eligible for TFWS. Further, other state students are not availed with TFW as it is domicile limited. Colleges will asked for documents like income Certificate domicile Certificate which are Mandatory.
