IIT Delhi Courses and Fee 2022

IITD offers around 100 courses with diverse specialisations. These courses are offered at UG, PG and doctoral level programmes in full-time, full-time sponsored and part-time modes. BTech is the flagship programme of IIT Delhi and it is of four-year duration. The duration of PG programmes, such as MTech, MBA, MSc and MDes is two years each. Additionally, IITD has signed MoUs with foreign universities to offer Joint PhD and JDP. The institute is also known for its special PG diploma programmes for DMRC and Indian Navy-sponsored candidates. Recently, IITD has started offering a few certificate courses of six to one-year duration, including Digital Marketing, Data Science, Human Resource Management, among others. IIT Delhi cut off 2021 is the minimum rank required by the candidates in JEE Advanced to be eligible for admission to the Deemed University. JEE Advanced-qualified candidates who have registered themselves for JoSAA Counselling 2021 were allotted seats based on their preference of course and college. For seeking admission to the courses offered at IIT Delhi, as a first step, candidates are required to visit the official website of respective national-level entrance exam/ conducting bodies and fill the application form in online mode. Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Delhi (www.iitd.ac.in). On its Homepage, click on ‘Admissions’. From the drop-down menu that appears, click on ‘Announcements’.

Step 2: The admission brochure, admission pamphlet and prospectus can be downloaded from this page. Click on ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.

Step 3: The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here’. Fill the registration form with all the details, including name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create an alpha-numeric password for future logins.

Step 4: Further, fill in the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, address of communication, qualifications, etc.

Step 5: Upload all the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/ JPEG format.

Step 6: Conclude the application process by paying an application fee using a debit card/ credit card/ net banking.

IIT Delhi Placements 2022

According to the official report released, a total of 1,250 offers have been made during Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2022. This is the highest number of offers ever received. Further, the report mentioned receiving around 180 PPOs. Seven students have opted for deferred placements (for startup and entrepreneurship) in the Phase 1 IIT Delhi placements 2021-22. Apart from this, 40 international offers were offered. The highest international and domestic packages offered during the first phase of IIT Delhi placements 2022 were INR 2 crore per annum and INR 1 crore per annum, respectively. IIT Delhi Result

IIT Delhi follows a semester pattern, namely summer and winter semesters, and releases the result of each semester soon after the commencement of the respective examinations. IIT Delhi results can be checked by visiting the official website of the Deemed University. Candidates can access the result by entering their mandatory details, such as registration number and programme. Follow the below-given steps to check the IIT Delhi results:

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIT Delhi (www.iitd.ac.in).

Step 2: On the home page, click on the ‘Students’ tab.

Step 3: From the drop-down menu, click on the ‘Results’ tab.

Step 4: A page with asking details, such as registration number will appear.

Step 5: Enter the necessary details and click on the ‘Login’ button.

Step 6: A result sheet will display on the screen. Candidates can also download the result card.

IIT Delhi Infrastructure

IIT Delhi has a technologically advanced campus spread across 325 acre of land. The premier institute has one of the best campuses in India state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern amenities and research laboratories. Currently, the Deemed University has six distinct schools, including Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology & Management, Amar Nath & Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology, Kusuma School of Biological Sciences, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Public Policy and School of Interdisciplinary Research.

IIT Delhi offers hostel facilities to both domestic and international students. The classrooms of IIT Delhi are equipped with audio-visual aids along with digital smart boards to promote innovative and interactive learning. Other facilities provided by IIT Delhi include seminar rooms, auditoriums, recreation labs, mess, cafeteria, gym, sports complex, convenience store, ATM, healthcare centre, etc. A few of the infrastructural USPs offered by IIT Delhi are discussed below:

  • Library: The IIT Delhi library system comprises a central library and departmental libraries. The library has subscribed to 690 current journals and a rich collection of books on Science and Technology. The library houses a collection of 1.94 lakh books, 1.03 bound volumes of journals, over 26,000 standards, 2,200+ microfilms are 2,261+, among others. It has also incorporated video cassettes, CDs and online electronic journals.
  • Cafeteria: IIT Delhi has a cafeteria near the academic buildings, a South Indian food court (Southy) in the boys' hostel area. There are many shops, such as Amul, Lipton, Nescafe and Cafe Coffee Day in the institute area. Some hostels, including Kumaon, Zanskar, Aravali, Girnar and Karakoram have a tea halt.
  • Hostel: IIT Delhi has a total number of 14 hostels, comprising 11 for boys and three for girls. The boys’ hostels are Nilgiri, Karakoram, Aravali, Jwalamukhi, Satpura, Zanskar, Kumaon, Vindyachal, Shivalik, Girnar and Udaigir, while Kailash and Himadri Hostels are for girls. Each hostel of IIT Delhi is self-contained with amenities such as a reading room, an indoor games room, a lounge and a dining hall with mess. All rooms have been provided with Internet facilities.
  • Sports complex: IIT Delhi is known for its sports and hence it offers several practising courts to the students, including badminton, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, cricket and football grounds, athletic tracks, a swimming pool, weightlifting and taekwondo auditoriums, among others.

IIT Delhi has a wide array of faculty comprising over 650 teaching staff with an excellent faculty to student ratio of 1:8. Out of the highly-qualified and competent teaching faculty, around 99.82% of the professors are PhD degree holders from some of the top institutions across the world in relevant fields. Some of the faculty members have achieved national awards. Rukmini Bhaya Nair, renowned poet and linguist, is the HOD of the Humanities Department and experienced faculty from Stanford University. I highly recommend everyone to take adm in IIT Delhi if he/she cross IIT Delhi cutoff.

Placements: Around 85-90% student get placed in my branch. Actually those student who sit in placement get placed, rest go for master or higher studies. Average package of this branch is 16 lpa+. Those student having CGPA 8+ are easily getting internship,7 pointer also got internship.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi available all over the campus. Computer lab available with full of AC and 500mps Wi-Fi speed. Library is open for 24hrs. There is two boys in a single room (perhaps it become personal from 3rd year). Quality of food is we...

It is one of the best colleges with better students from all over the country.

Placements: According to recent data, the placements in our college have been one of the best in the country. CSE department of our college had an average salary package of around 18 LPA-19 LPA. For other departments, the average salary package offered varies between 15 LPA-16 LPA. Moreover, the placement rate is more than 90% here.

Infrastructure: The entire campus has a free Wi-Fi facility. There are proper facilities for various sports like football, volleyball, basketball, etc. The campus also has an Olympic size swimm...

Amazing infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: More than 80 percent students were placed in my course. The highest package was around 44 Lacs per annum whereas the lowest package was 6 Lacs oer annum. Top recruiting companies are Hindustan Unilever and Piramel. 50% percent students got internship in companies like HUL and piramel. Research engineer, product engineer etc. Are some of the roles offered in my course.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available everywhere in the campus including classrooms, labs and hostels. The quality of food in the mess is good. A h...

Review of IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology.

Placements: Nearly all the students who want placement got placed if qualified. The packages range from 7-80 LPA, but it is subjective over the years. Microsoft comes here. Nearly all the students get placed. Mostly, the roles of programmers, developers, etc., are offered, but some also go for analytics and finance.

Infrastructure: Full-time Wi-Fi is available. Students can access labs. Sports facilities are available in both the hostel and institute. There are coaches for nearly all sports, and a lot of sports activities a...

Institute Merit-cum-Means (MCM) Scholarships (Undergraduate Programs):

The Institute offers Merit-cum-Means scholarships to undergraduate students in engineering and technology.
These scholarships are offered to about 25% of the students. The present value of Merit-cum-Means scholarship is INR 1000/- per month for General/OBC/EWS students and the recipient is exempted from paying the tuition fee.

Scholarship provision for SC, ST & PD students (Undergraduate Programs):

Tuition fee exemption is admissible to all SC / ST/PD students irrespective of their parents’/ guardians’ income, Institute offers several other benefits to students from these categories.
