IIT Delhi Courses and Fee 2022
IITD offers around 100 courses with diverse specialisations. These courses are offered at UG, PG and doctoral level programmes in full-time, full-time sponsored and part-time modes. BTech is the flagship programme of IIT Delhi and it is of four-year duration. The duration of PG programmes, such as MTech, MBA, MSc and MDes is two years each. Additionally, IITD has signed MoUs with foreign universities to offer Joint PhD and JDP. The institute is also known for its special PG diploma programmes for DMRC and Indian Navy-sponsored candidates. Recently, IITD has started offering a few certificate courses of six to one-year duration, including Digital Marketing, Data Science, Human Resource Management, among others. Step 2: The admission brochure, admission pamphlet and prospectus can be downloaded from this page. Click on ‘Apply Now’ button to proceed further.
Step 3: The registration page opens up. Click on ‘New User Register Here’. Fill the registration form with all the details, including name, email ID, contact number, course preference, etc. Also, create an alpha-numeric password for future logins.
Step 4: Further, fill in the remaining application form by addressing other details, including guardian info, address of communication, qualifications, etc.
Step 5: Upload all the required documents in PDF format. Also, upload a passport-size photograph and signature and JPG/ JPEG format.

IIT Delhi Placements 2022
According to the official report released, a total of 1,250 offers have been made during Phase 1 of IIT Delhi placements 2022. This is the highest number of offers ever received. Further, the report mentioned receiving around 180 PPOs. Seven students have opted for deferred placements (for startup and entrepreneurship) in the Phase 1 IIT Delhi placements 2021-22. Apart from this, 40 international offers were offered. The highest international and domestic packages offered during the first phase of IIT Delhi placements 2022 were INR 2 crore per annum and INR 1 crore per annum, respectively. IIT Delhi Infrastructure
IIT Delhi has a technologically advanced campus spread across 325 acre of land. The premier institute has one of the best campuses in India state-of-the-art infrastructure, modern amenities and research laboratories. Currently, the Deemed University has six distinct schools, including Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology & Management, Amar Nath & Shashi Khosla School of Information Technology, Kusuma School of Biological Sciences, School of Artificial Intelligence, School of Public Policy and School of Interdisciplinary Research.
IIT Delhi offers hostel facilities to both domestic and international students. The classrooms of IIT Delhi are equipped with audio-visual aids along with digital smart boards to promote innovative and interactive learning. Other facilities provided by IIT Delhi include seminar rooms, auditoriums, recreation labs, mess, cafeteria, gym, sports complex, convenience store, ATM, healthcare centre, etc. A few of the infrastructural USPs offered by IIT Delhi are discussed below:
- Library: The IIT Delhi library system comprises a central library and departmental libraries. The library has subscribed to 690 current journals and a rich collection of books on Science and Technology. The library houses a collection of 1.94 lakh books, 1.03 bound volumes of journals, over 26,000 standards, 2,200+ microfilms are 2,261+, among others. It has also incorporated video cassettes, CDs and online electronic journals.
- Cafeteria: IIT Delhi has a cafeteria near the academic buildings, a South Indian food court (Southy) in the boys' hostel area. There are many shops, such as Amul, Lipton, Nescafe and Cafe Coffee Day in the institute area. Some hostels, including Kumaon, Zanskar, Aravali, Girnar and Karakoram have a tea halt.
- Hostel: IIT Delhi has a total number of 14 hostels, comprising 11 for boys and three for girls. The boys’ hostels are Nilgiri, Karakoram, Aravali, Jwalamukhi, Satpura, Zanskar, Kumaon, Vindyachal, Shivalik, Girnar and Udaigir, while Kailash and Himadri Hostels are for girls. Each hostel of IIT Delhi is self-contained with amenities such as a reading room, an indoor games room, a lounge and a dining hall with mess. All rooms have been provided with Internet facilities.
- Sports complex: IIT Delhi is known for its sports and hence it offers several practising courts to the students, including badminton, tennis, volleyball and basketball courts, cricket and football grounds, athletic tracks, a swimming pool, weightlifting and taekwondo auditoriums, among others.
