My Experience of IIT Delhi.
Placements: Here more than 250 companies came for recruitment for all branches. Here the placement scenario is about 80- 90%. Generally facebook, google and microsoft offers a very nice package. The average package is 7.5 - 8 lacs per year. Some of companies are TATA motors, jindal steel, yamaha motors, eicher tractors etc.
Infrastructure: I want to pursue mechanical engineering, but my rank didn't satisfy the cut off for this branch in IIT Delhi so I took a similar departmental branch. The faculty are highly qualified done Masters and Ph.D. from foreign universities in their fields. Hostel facilities are average. Meal quality is okay. The hostel is randomly assigned to freshers.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful for students. They are very knowledgeable. Teaching quality in IIT Delhi is very good. Semester exams are quite difficult. I got admission through clearing JEE Main and JEE Advanced and satisfied my branch cutoff. All study material is available in library.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: About 90% of students got placed on campus. The highest salary package offered is around 50 LPA - 60 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 15 LPA - 20 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA. Top textile companies visit our college for internships. We have to score a 6 CGPA to get internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good but old. We have a well-equipped laboratory. It helps to improve our skills and knowledge. All hostels have decent facilities. The mess provides good and tasty food. We have a canteen.
Faculty: It is very difficult to clear some courses like ML, etc. Many professors won't teach us. They are not concerned about students' studies. We need to prepare well before going to classes.
Other: I chose this course because it is easy. Academics are very hectic in our college.

Top college in India that gives the best placements.
Placements: Almost all the students get placement if they have a decent CGPA. As my branch is among the top branches, the highest package is in crores, and the lowest is INR 15-20 Lacs per annum. Microsoft and top MNCs hire my college students; maximum students get internships in the best companies as my college is one of the top colleges in India.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in my college; they have so many computer labs, free Wi-Fi connections for all students, and a very good central library with all course and non-course books. All places have ACs. Facilities in the hostel are good; hygiene is maintained; food is also decent; there are so many grounds for sports; and a hospital is there for free.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are helpful; some are not, but every teacher is knowledgeable. Yes, courses are relevant and helpful for students in the future. The semester exams are really tough, and the pass percentage is relative to all students performance in exams.
Other: I have an interest in this course; that's why I took it. I think everything is perfect. Events are great, the campus is beautiful, and many scholarships are awarded to deserving students. There are also different clubs for extracurricular activities.

Great placements every year. But IIT is a government college, so it is tough to get admission.
Placements: Placement is good every year, no matter what. The highest package can go over INR 2, 3, or 4 crores, and average placement varies for every branch. But every person is independent and can apply for any job they like; they only need to get experience in the job for which they are applying.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is always good, and it is blessed with a really good environment and greenery. The buildings are well furnished and renovated frequently. Hostels are renovated as well, but due to the increase in students every year, the infrastructure of hostels is not so good.
Faculty: The faculty is highly experienced, with a combined experience of more than 10 years. Professors are really intelligent; some are friendly, some are not, but all of them are surely talented in their streams. The exams and academic calendar are well followed, and exams are kept at a good level. They are not easy at all.

Q:   Does IIT Delhi provide hostel accommodation to its students?

A:
Yes, IIT Delhi offers adequate hostel facilities for all students. The hostel at IIT Delhi was built in the 1960s. And, they're managed well to date. The room for the first year's B.Tech is a 3-seater (which was two-seater earlier). In some hostels, there are two-seater rooms too (as there are 13 hostels with different maps and infrastructure). The rooms are less spacious if you and your roommates wish to stay in the room all the time (it doesn't happen though). Below mentioned is a review of the IIT Delhi hostel facilities, as per a recent graduate: "There are 3 beds on which many people sleep (mostly 5+ at exam times). There are 3 tables, 3 chairs and 2 almirahs with four slots each. There are two LAN ports for 3 people. You manage it as there is a Wi-Fi facility too. Also, in a room, there are two fans, two tube lights and four electricity boards."
