B.A. Is best for government jobs as it gives you lot of grip about the subjects like history, philosophy, english (You've to choose any of these) And if you do B.A. Journalism, it's good to settle in print & electronic media.

Yes you can. You have to fill the form again and then in it you can change your stream. But it is very difficult in any stream to give +2 exams, without understanding the basic concepts of +1, whether it is Science or commerce or even Humanities.

You can definitely pursue Bachelor of Arts in Media and Mass Communication from Doon Business School since you have successfully cleared class 10th and 12th. It's of a very rare case when a private institute demands a proof/reason for the gap in education but if you had a genuine issue and can cover up by a proof, will definitely help you get through the admission process.
