The colleges return your certificates in the first year only. They don't keep. Also in many places TC and character certificate given from school is not required. The college you just passed will also give you character certificate and TC. Contact your college. Regards.

Yes, if you fail in more than one subject you have to repeat a year. Since you have an optional subject which helps you to pass if you fail in one subject only. But, it can not help if you fail in 2. The total percentage is 5 subjects. All the best.

Eligibility criteria: The appearing candidate should have cleared Senior Secondary School Examination of CBSE or any other class 12th equivalent examination from any board/recognized institute, university.
Candidates belonging to general category should have secured a minimum of 60% in class 12th. This aggregate should be of marks scored in four papers- English, Mathematics and the other two subjects that are approved by the University of Delhi.
