Mathematics is one of the subjects required to apply for MCA at NHCE Bangalore. Candidates need to complete a bachelor's degree with Mathematics or Statistics or Computer Science or Computer Programming or Computer Applications or Business Mathematics or Business Statistics as one of the optional or elective at degree level with at least 50% aggregate to apply for MCA.

No. You must secure a positive score in Mathematics; there is no other way around. If you score 0 or minus (because of negative marking) you automatically get disqualified from ranking, irrespective of your score in other sections.

No, candidates are not required to opt for the Mathematics subject in their Class 12 board exams to qualify for BSc (Hons) admissions at IIM Bangalore.
Instead, candidates are required to have Mathematics in their Class 10 board exams. To be eligible for BSc (Hons) admissions, candidates need to clear the Mathematics subject with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Class 10.
The aggregate of other subjects in Class 10 board exams is irrelevant to BSc (Hons) admissions at IIM Bangalore.

No, Mathematics is not mandatory at the 10+2 (HSC) level to be eligible for the exam. Students from all streams, including Science, Commerce, and Arts, can apply as long as they have passed Class 12 or an equivalent exam with eligibility as per the Admission Policy of the Affiliating University.
