Though most colleges do not require a maths background for admission into this course. One can still say that mathematics is used in the practical applications of scientific principles. One can require basic mathematical operations and calculations. Also, financial planning, budgeting, and resource management all require math skills for calculation of interest rates, depreciation and profit margins.

Yes, some math is needed for Genetics — but you do not need to be a math expert.
Genetics & Math: What's Actually Required?
At school / basic undergraduate level
Very basic math only
Ratios and percentages
Probability (e.g., Punnett squares)
Simple statistics (mean, graphs)
If you're comfortable with Class 10–12 math basics, you're fine.

No. With this PCM marks you are not eligible for IGRU admission. Because they require minimum 55 percent marks both Physics and Mathematics combined and individually 50 marks in each subject (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English). You should have to be reappear for the 12th exam to score better marks.
