CDAC can be classified under Tier 1 based on several factors. BSE Institute Mumbai has released the placement report. The participating recruiters placed 36 students of PGD-FT, 36 students of PGP-BF, and 20 students of the PGD-CS batch 2022. The top recruiters of BSE Institute included Analah Capital, Zee Business, ICCL, Kotak Securities, Morning Star, Bank of India, IIFL Securities, BSE, CDSL, Arcon, etc.

At the end of each batch, C-DAC offers a Common Campus Placement Program (CCPP). Region-specific CCPPs are held in Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida, and Pune. For the majority of batches, almost all centres have been successful in placing about 80% of candidates. Among the top employers of C-DAC are GE, GE Industrial, Honeywell, Cisco, HSBC, Fast Track, Indigo Architects, Infosys, etc. The typical compensation package for students, according to C-DAC, is between INR 4.5 Lakh and INR 8 Lakh and the highest salary package offered to the students is around INR 13 LPA. CDAC has not yet released the course wise placement report. C-DAC helps students in exploring placement opportunities by inviting companies to the Common Campus Placement Programme. During the placement drive at C-DAC students can participate in the National Level Common Campus Placement Programme (CCPP) in five regions: Bangalore, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Noida and Pune where more than 500 companies across India visit for recruitment. All training centres of C-DAC are equally good and facilitate proficient faculty, technical, administrative and placement services. All centres are successful in achieving good placement records. No specific entrance exam is mentioned for admission to CDAC Centre for Development of Advanced Computing PG Diploma in Big Data Analytics. However, the institute has drawn the educational criteria for PG-DBDA course:

• Graduate in Engineering or Technology (10+2+4 or 10+3+3 years) in IT / Computer Science / Electronics / Telecommunications / Electrical / Instrumentation. OR 
• MSc/MS (10+2+3+2 years) in Computer Science, IT, Electronics. OR

• The candidates must have secured a minimum of 55% marks in their qualifying examination.
