Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University in Ranchi is ranked 3rd in Jharkhand and fourteenth among state universities in India. The central university of jharkhand has good infrastructure and an excellent academics but the placement rate here is poor. In Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University the faculty and teaching are quite appreciable and the infrastructure is well advanced. It has got a poor placement record against the central university of jharkhand.
