Under the provisions of Parliamentary Act No. 25 of 2009, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, was founded in 2009. It was given an A+ rating by NAAC for accreditation, and in 2022, NIRF placed it 81st among all universities. At the postgraduate and doctoral levels, the Central University of Punjab, Bathinda, offers a total of 89 courses. Additionally, it offers two online certificate courses. A dedicated placement unit of the Central University of Punjab arranges internships and job fairs for its students. The university maintains partnerships with numerous reputable businesses and organizations, and the placement cell works hard to give all qualified students access to employment prospects. Infosys, TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, and HCL Technologies are a few of the well-known businesses that come to the university to recruit.

According to NIRF 2022 data, the median salary for M.Pharm students in 2022 was INR 3.36 LPA, and at Central University of Punjab, the maximum salary was around 10–11 LPA on average.

Direct Admission in Central University of Punjab for the year 2023-24:

  1. For postgraduate and Undergraduate programs, you can register yourself online and pay the required admission fees via online payment method. 
  2. For PhD programme, the programme wise and category wise list of vacant seats will be displayed on University website. 

Note: Physical reporting is must for participating in Direct admission.

The Central University of Punjab NIRF report 2022, a total of 28 M.Pharm students were placed during the placement drive of 2021-22. The median package offered to M.Pharm Students stood at INR 3.36 LPA. 

The 2023 report is yet to be released by the Central University of Punjab.

Candidate must have completed their HSC (10+2) from a recognised board with the required percentage according to the programme he will select.

The admission process for undergraduate programs generally includes an entrance examination, while for postgraduate programs, it may include an entrance examination or an interview. No, you cannot, before candidates apply for admission to Central University of Punjab, they should check the eligibility score of CUET (Earlier known as CUCET). The merit list of Central University of Punjab will be prepared based on the marks secured by candidates in the CUCET followed by an interview.
