Central University of Punjab

Candidates must have qualified to enroll in PG degree programs offered by CUP that need completion of a bachelor’s degree from a recognised central or state university with a minimum mark of 45-50%. The university takes admission on the basis of CUET scores.

MSc: In order to get admission for MSc courses students have to appear for the CUET entrance exam for admission 2023 session. Interested candidates must complete a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least of 50 percent marks. 

MA: The Central University of Punjab offers an MA programme in different specializations. University accepts admission through the CUET entrance exam. candidates must complete their graduation with a minimum of 50% marks in relevant fields to enroll in this program. it takes a total time duration is 2 years. 

MPharm: Masters of Pharmacy is a PG course with 2 years duration at Central University. The eligibility criteria for Mpharm is a Bachelor of Pharmacy or BPharmacy from a recognised university. 

To pursue a Ph.D. course student must obtain a master’s degree with at least 50 percent marks from any discipline university.

The Central University of Punjab is not expensive compared to the Central University of Delhi. The fees structure is economical for most of the students. The fees of the courses are as follows:

M.Com: Rs 24,680 for 2 years

M.Sc: Rs 26,820 for 2 years

MBA: Rs 59,290 per year

M.Tech.: Rs 46,758 for 2 years

M.Pharm: Rs. 46,758 for 2 years

M.Ed: Rs. 38,998 for 2 years

M.A.: Rs 14,230 per year

Ph.D: Rs. 16,180 (education) per year

          Rs. 21,540 (Mathematics) per year

And the hostel and accommodation facilities are charged per semester too.

Also, the universty has earn-while-you- learn scheme for low income group students which helps them financially.
