In most cases, no. Class 12th mark sheet act as the required document. However, colleges like UPES, Dehradun do ask for one.

You can not take a certificate as MD as no matter how much experience you do not have an MBBS degree. Please refer to the eligibility criteria to pursue MD:
- Eligibility for the MD course is restricted to those holding the M. B. S. degree. The certification must be from a university that is acknowledged by the Medical Council of India. - Percentage criteria may vary from institute to institute.
