Yes, practical exams are conducted for subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer Science. These practicals usually carry 30 marks, while the theory part carries 70 marks. The practical exams test the students' understanding through experiments and viva (oral exam). Marks from the practicals are added to the final result. Students should prepare well for both theory and practical exams.

The ideal time to start solving sample papers is 2–3 months before the final exams. This allows students to complete their syllabus first and then shift focus to revision and practice. However, solving one or two CGBSE 12th sample papers during the syllabus coverage can also help with concept clarity. Closer to the exam, daily practice with sample papers can reinforce learning. Timed practice can simulate exam conditions and boost confidence.

It's a good idea to solve at least 3 to 5 sample papers for each subject. The more you practice, the better your understanding of the subject becomes. Start with one paper per week, then increase the number as exams get closer. Also, review your answers and correct your mistakes. This habit helps improve your writing and presentation skills.

Teachers can schedule regular tests using CGBSE 12th sample papers & previous year's question papers and discuss the answers in class. They can guide students on how to write answers to different type of question types & evaluate their performance. On the other hand, parents can create a exam-like environment at home for practicing the smodel papers and past year's QPs.
