If the board's website is not opening, students can check the 12th CGBSE result 2026 via SMS. For checking the Chhattisgarh Board class 12 result via SMS, the below-mentioned steps should be followed.
- Write a text message- CG12ROLLNUMBER and send it to 56263.
- CG Board class 12 result will be received via text message.
- Students must sava and secure it for future reference.

The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) will release the CGBSE 12th Result 2026 in May 2026. Students can check CGBSE Class 12th result 2026 on the official website cgbse.nic.in/. They have to enter the DOB, Roll number and login details to check the 12th CGBSE result 2026. The CGBSE 12th exam will be held in offline mode.
The Chhattisgarh Board declared the CGBSE 12th result 2025 on May 7, 2025,at 3 PM.

- Click on CGBSE 12th Result Scrutiny.
- Log in using your roll number and select the subjects for re-evaluation.
- Pay the scrutiny fee online.
- In the end, save and print the payment receipt for future reference.

No, there is no negative marking in the CGBSE exams. Students receive one mark for each correct answer for objective-type questions. Hence, the students should attempt all questions confidently. However, students who write the wrong long-type answers will have their marks deducted.
