As of February 2025, Chaudhary Devi Lal University (CDLU) has not yet commenced admissions for the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in English programme for the 2025-26 academic session. Admissions are expected to open soon, with the application deadline anticipated to be February 20, 2025. 

Yes, someone who does not belong to Haryana is also eligible to apply for BSc at CDLU. As per the reservation policy followed at the university, 15% of the total seats are unreserved and to be filled through All India Quota (AIQ). Candidates who belong to any other state of India can contest for these seats. To apply for these seats, candidates must fill out the application form that is applicable to the candidates belonging to an Indian state other than Harayana. CDLU accepts BA admissions through CUET UG exam score. Based on these scores, CDLU prepares and releases a merit list of shortlisted candidates. Hence, candidates seeking admission to the BA courses of CDLU must regsiter for CUET UG timely. They can follow the steps given below to regsiter for CUET UG:

1. Online registration on the website of NTA

2. Generate login credentials and use them for logging in

3. Fill out the CUET 2024 application form with personal and academic details, programme and exam city preference, and upload the necessary documents

4. Pay the CUET application fee online via debit/credit card/Net Banking/Paytm/UPI

For BA admission at CDLU or its affiliated colleges, candidates must undergo the centralised admission process of CDLU. The steps included in this process are as follows:

1. Apply for CUET UG and appear for the exam
2. Submit online application through the official website of CDLU. Here, candidates must carefully fill out the application form applicable to them based on their status of residence
3. The university will pepare a merit list based on CUET UG scores
4. Shortlisted candidates must pay the course fee within the stipulated time to confirm their admission.
