Yes, someone who does not belong to Haryana is also eligible to apply for BA at CDLU. As per the reservation policy followed at the university, 15% of the total seats are unreserved and to be filled through All India Quota (AIQ). Candidates who belong to any other state of India can contest for these seats. To apply for these seats, candidates must fill out the application form that is applicable to the candidates belonging to an Indian state other than Harayana. The form is available on the official website of the university.

In case a candidate decides to withdraw his/her admission in a particular programme offered at CDLU, the following fee refund conditions will apply:
(i) If a candidate leaves any programme, the entire fee deposited by the candidate will be refunded upto September 30 after deducting processing fee of INR 1000
(ii) If the admission of a student is cancelled by the college, for no fault of his/her, the dues
paid by him/her will be refunded
(iii) Caution money/Security Deposit is refundable if application is received by December 31 of the year of the completion of course.

CDLU is a government university established by the Government of Haryana under Act 9 of 2003 passed by the State Legislature. It is accredited with ‘B’ Grade by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). CDLU is approved by the University Grant Commission (UGC) and National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).

Based on the NIRF Report 2022, the median package offered during UG (3-year) placements of the university was INR 1.2 LPA. Students have rated CDLU BA placements on Shiksha.com. The last date to apply for CDLU BA admission varies from year to year. This is because the admissions are based on the CUET UG result. CUET UG result 2024 has not been released yet but is expected to be released soon. Hence, interested candidates must timely submit their applications on the official website of CDLU. As per the academic calander available on the university's official website, the admission cycle for 2024-25 will close on July 20, 2024. It must be noted that this date is subject to change and hence, is indicative.

The admission to BA courses at CDLU is based on the scores of CUET UG. Only a candidate who meets the required eligibility criteria and has a valid CUET UG score can apply for BA admission at CDLU. Based on the scores in CUET UG, the university prepares and releases a merit list containing the names of shortlisted candidates. Hence, one can not get a direct admission at CDLU for BA.
