Chandigarh University admissions are primarly entrance-based. The university accepts students based on either university-level entrance test i.e., CUCET (Chandigarh University Common Entrance Test) or via the scores secured in the national-level exams, such as JEE. Students can visit the official website of the university to apply for the desired programme and check the course-wise admission criteria.

No, there is no need to know cooking before joining Hotel Management at Chandigarh University. At the university, the course starts from ground zero and you will get to learn each and everything.

There are proper labs at the university like Basic Training Kitchen, Bakery Lab, Quantity Food Production Lab, and more. You will be trained step by step, so no need to worry if you have never cooked before.

Hotel Management is not only about cooking. It also covers housekeeping, front office, restaurant service, and event handling. So even if cooking is new to you, there are many areas to explore.

Yes, why not Chandigarh University is a really great option for airlines. The most recomended one is B.Sc. Airlibne and Airport Management.

And as far as I know, the university has strong collaborations with big names like Air India, Emirates, Qatar Airways, and singapore Airline. This means students get amazing placement opportunities after graduation. so, if you are really interested in aviation, then without any second thought, go for Chandigarh University.

Admission to B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering at Chandigarh University is based on CUCET or JEE Main scores. Students with 60% or more in 10+2 (with Physics and Maths) are eligible. CU doesn't have a fixed cutoff, but a CUCET score above 30% is required, and for CSE, the expected rank cutoff is around 9,000. Scholarships are based on performance—those scoring 90%+ in CUCET get a 100% tuition fee waiver, and even 40–49.99% scorers receive INR 14,600 off the INR 1,46,000 fee.

CU also offers a JEE Main–based scholarship to the top 5% of applicants. Students with an AIR of up to 25,000 get a 100% semester fee waiver, and ranks
