No, applicants are not allowed to get direct admission to BTech courses at CCS HAU. To get admission into the BTech course, applicants are required to fulfil the complete eligibility criteria. The candidates must complete their Class 12 in the PCB/PCMB/PCM subjects. Additionally, candidates must have secured an aggregate of 50%. Additionally, for the selection process, the university and its constituent college accepts the scores of entrance exams—the ICAR CUET/ CCSHAU entrance exam, followed by a counselling process.

The basic eligibility requirement to get admission into the BTech course at UAS Dharwad and CCS HAU is almost similar, in which candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream with an aggregate of 50%. Further, for the selection process, CAU accepts relevant ICAR CUET/ CCS HAU entrance scores. On the other hand, UAS Dharwad accepts relevant scores of ICAR CUET/ KCET. Hence, the only difference is the type of entrance exam accepted for the BTech course. Candidates can choose any of them that align with their career choices, location preferences, and affordability.

The e-admit card for the BTech course at CCS HAU is issued provisionally to the candidates, subject to satisfying the eligibility conditions. The candidate has to download the admit card from their login at the admission website and appear for the examination at the given center on the date as indicated in their admit card. No candidate will be allowed to appear in the examination center without an admit card.

No, ICAR CUET UG scores are not compulsory for admission to BTech courses at CCS HAU. The university conducts its entrance exam called CCSHAU (Entrance Test/ Agriculture Aptitude Test/ Common Entrance Test). The university reserves a certain percentage of seats reserved for BTech courses, which are filled through the All India Entrance Examination for Admission (AIEEA) conducted by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR).
