Tamil Nadu Agricultural University admissions to UG and Diploma courses are currently ongoing. NIRF 2025 Rankings are out. As per the latest NIRF 2025 rankings, TNAU ranks #84 under the category 'University' and #6 under 'Agriculture and Allied Sectors'.
A few more updates are given below:
- The TNEA 2026 counselling registration last date has been extended for admission to the BE/ BTech courses. Students can now register till Jun 5, 2026.
- The TANCET 2026 counselling registration has started for admission to the MBA and MCA courses. Students can register till Jun 30, 2026.

Tamil Nadu Agricultural University is a public/government university. The university was initially established in Saidapet, Madras, Tamil Nadu, and later was relocated to Coimbatore.
