Yes you can. There is no such eligibility criteria. Animation course is provided by many institutions which only ask for 12th in any stream.

if you want to earn good cse (also if you arr interested in it),mechanical is evergreen it gives you a wider exposure you can also do masters from cse after mechanical overall both them are good. but it also depends on the college you do these from some have better placements for petroleum engineering so choice is basically yours
