How do I score 160+ in Chemistry for NEET-17? This question made me remember the time, when I used to ask people the same thing a year ago. And now I am writing it for someone else with a grin on my face. First of all you should understand the fact that the Chemistry Ncerts will be indispensable for getting 160+. You have to read each and every line of all the four books (2 vol. Of 11th and 2 of 12th) including those few small chapters at the last which everyone thinks are useless. Tricks usually taught to students in classes regarding elements arranged according to their valency, reactivity series, etc. Helps in memorizing tedious topics. Continuous practice of numerical and application questions will help. Past year papers and a positive outlook towards the subjects will definitely help cover the vast syllabus. Regular reading of topics that require rote memorization will help.

Read from NCERT textbook as its the best book to study Organic Chemistry for JEE. Try to understand mechanisms of the reactions (not all, only important ones). This helps in memorizing similar types of reactions in one go. Don't cram all the reactions and concepts. Look up past year JEE papers and observe the trends. There must be some reactions in your books that are never taught/asked. They can be left and ignored. Draw flowchart of reactions on sheets of papers. The admission to this course is to take place via graduation degree in the respective course and Karnataka PGCET which is to take place in 3rd week of July. Karnataka PGCET 2023 Cut-off is yet to be released. It is scheduled to be released post the conduct of the examination. The authorities will release the cut-off via online mode. The cut-off will be available in PDF Format.

Admission for BSc Chemistry course at MDU Rohtak will be merit based, for which no cut-off has been provided as of now. Past years cut off for B Pharma and B.Tech courses are available, but not for chemistry.

If you are having Science stream in 12th, then no need of including best 4 subjects for admission in B.Sc. Courses, you have to include Maths (compulsory) and any 2 subjects from Physics Chemistry Biology or any other subject from the list of the subjects provided by DU. If you do not have Science in 12th, then you have to include your best 4 subjects in aggregate for admission. You have to include English and Maths both compulsarily and any 2 elective subjects from the list of subjects provided by DU.
