Candidates should try and take a coloured printout of the admit card. But it is not compulsory. They must make sure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout. In any case the photograph on CLAT Admit Card should be clear.

Candidates who forget to carry the CLAT admit card to the exam centre are not allowed to appear. The hall ticket is a proof that the aspirant had registered for the exam.

No, the Consortium does not send the CLAT admit card by post and candidates have to download it online. Students who will appear for CLAT must download the admit card online as soon as it is released and not delay it until the last moment. Candidates are advised to take multiple printouts and check the details printed on the CLAT admit card carefully.

Once the CLAT admit card is released, candidates cannot change their allotted exam centre. There is no provision for altering the test centre at any stage, making it crucial to carefully select test cities when filling out the CLAT application form. It is advisable to choose a city that is either your hometown, a city you are likely to be in on the exam day, or a nearby city where you can reach easily.
