PGDM is equivalent to MBA. MBA is a degree provided by any university while PGDM is affiliated to AICTE. Even IIMs provide PGDM degree. Both are good, the only thing is the institution from which you are pursuing it.

Hi, Great Lakes accept more than 90 percentile in CMAT. With anything less than 90 percentile would not be accepted.

You can apply before the declaration of CMAT result. But I think the last date of application (PGDM) was 26th January.
