If I were in your position, I wouldn't wait too much or get stressed about the scores. You already have 2 years of work experience, which is a good advantage and adds value to your profile.

My suggestion would be to apply to colleges that accept MAT scores while also waiting for your CMAT result. That way, you keep your options open and don't lose time.

Personally, I would suggest GIBS Bangalore. What I liked about GIBS is that the college looks at the overall profile of a student and not just one exam score. Along with academics, there is a strong focus on internships, industry exposure, live projects, placement training, and skill deve

To get a seat in the FLAME University of the MBA/PGDM course, you have to appear for any one of the accepted exams, like CAT, XAT, CMAT, etc. After clearing the exam, you have to get shortlisted for further admission round, which involves PI or GD.

The FLAME University CAT cutoff 2025 was 75 for the General AI category. For the XAT and CMAT exams. The cutoff for the same category and course was 75 percentile for both exams. For more information, click here.

Mentor guidance can be very helpful for MBA entrance exam preparation because it provides direction, strategy, and regular feedback. A good mentor helps identify strengths and weaknesses, suggests effective study plans, and shares practical exam tips. At LPU, the focus on industry oriented learning and career development reflects the value of guided mentorship. However, success still depends on consistent effort, practice, and self discipline along with the right guidance.

Yes, appearing for multiple MBA entrance exams like CAT, XAT, CMAT, and MAT is a smart approach. Each exam is accepted by different institutes, so it increases the number of opportunities available. It also reduces dependence on a single exam and provides more options for selecting a suitable college. While preparing, focus on concepts, aptitude, and time management because the syllabus of these exams overlaps to a large extent. At LPU, students with valid MBA entrance scores can benefit from an industry oriented curriculum, practical learning exposure, and strong career support that helps improve placement outcomes.

Many well known MBA institutes accept MAT, CMAT, and XAT scores, but the right choice depends on factors such as curriculum, industry exposure, faculty, and placement outcomes. LPU is one option that accepts national level entrance scores and offers an industry oriented MBA with practical learning, live projects, internships, and skill focused training. While comparing institutes, it is useful to look beyond rankings and focus on career support, corporate exposure, and long term learning opportunities.

Three months may not be enough for CMAT preparation, if you're doing it from scratch. However, if you are preparing for CAT, XAT, NMAT, you can prepare for CMAT in 3 months as you have clear understanding of the syllabus already and you will need exam specific practice only.
