Yes, chances are bright for 85+ percentile in CMAT.
Placements: Companies like Accenture, Morgan Stanley, Axis Bank, Citi bank, HDFC, JLL, etc. came for executive placements this year. The average package went around 8 LPA and the highest package was 15 LPA. About 40 percent students got placed on the 1st day of the placement week. Approximately 200 to 250 companies come for recruitment every year.

The colleges in which you can get admission as per expected cut-offs are ASM Institute of International Business and Research-Pune, Birla Institute of Technology-Ranchi, Acropolis Faculty of Management and Research, Medicaps Institute of Techno Management-Indore, LBSIM-Bareilly, Indira School of Business School-Pune and Doon Business School-Dehradun.

First of all, congrats on your score and yes, you are eligible.
You can apply for Welingkar - Bangalore, IFMR, and SIES (PGDM).
As a backup, you can apply for IMDR, ITM, BIMTECH, XIME, Amity, IMT-Nagpur, IMT-Hyderabad and Christ.
I don't how many colleges have closed their admission window. Just check it by going through their websites.

If you start preparing for it then it will definitely benefit you very much.
But, you have to find time for it during your studies else you can try it 2 months before CMAT exam in your final year.

No, don't go with Amity or if you can afford to study in Amity then it is good. You should try for Pune University rather than Amity University.

You can try for:Jaipur- Jaipuria Institute, Jaipur University and TAPMI.
Ahmedabad - Shanti Business School and Unitedworld School of Business.
Mumbai-IES and ITM.

You can look for IMT-Nagpur, Jaipuria Institute, Prestige Institute-Indore, SDMIMD-Mysore, SCMS-Cochin, XISS-Ranchi, Christ-Bangalore and NIBM-Pune (chances are less).

You can download your score card from their websites respectively. The results were out in February, so you are quite late I would say. Admissions are still on in some colleges so apply to colleges as per your score:
