Yes,you have a very good chance. The placements for finance this year has been impressive with many financial and micro financial companies coming for recruitment. The exact salary figures can be revealed only when the institute releases placement report,which will be out in a couple of weeks.

Yes , you may apply for IT, you may get a call.Placement criteria is 60% throughout for some companies not all.

Companies will come on the basis of how the placement committee pitches, they ask for the preferences and then they go for pitching accordingly, from past years few students have taken HR as their core subjects and have been placed.IMI Bhubaneswar uses CAT/XAT/CMAT/GMAT scores along with sectional scores and other academic parameters like marks in 10th, 12th and graduation for the purpose of shortlisting. The selection criteria are independent of CAT/XAT scores. It varies across the years just as the short-listing criteria and depends on the overall profile of the applicants each year.

Mostly, you will get admission into BK but still, as CMAT was taken only once in a year, there are few chances in cut off compared to last year.

Last year we had admission till 175 for general category. This year things may change because cmat was taken only once .
