Somaiya Vidyavihar University offers financial aid to the students who are pursuing any undergraduate or postgraduate programmes. The financial aid is available for the students at entry level. Financial aid at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is assessed entirely on the basis of financial standing and need of students.

KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce admission 2025 will be merit based. Admission to all the certificate, diploma, undergraduate, PG Diploma and postgraduate programmes is made on the basis of marks obtained by candidates in their respective qualifying examination. Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce PhD admission is subject to candidates' performance in Somaiya Vidyavihar University PhD Entrance Test (SVU-PET) followed by a Personal Interview.

KJSAC admission is entirely merit based. Candidates who want to take admission to any of the undergraduate or postgraduate level programmes at KJ Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce must achieve the minimum cutoff declared by the institute. According to the cutoff data for the year 2023, the last round percentage for General All India category candidates for BA and BCom programmes stood at 84% and 84.5% respectively. The cutoffs so declared may vary every year. KJSAC Cutoffs may even vary for candidates who belong to the reserved category.
