College of Biotechnology, DUVASU offers merit scholarships to students pursuing a course. One scholarship of INR 1,000 per month is awarded to MVSc student in each department based on their merit. 

Additionally, all the students seeking admission via ICAR common entrance test are eligible for National Talent Scholarship of ICAR at INR 5,000 per month provided they are from state other than Uttar Pradesh.

Aspirants need to pay a non-refundable application processing fee of INR 1,800 for each course. Aspirants need to pay the fee via any of the online payment modes such as Credit card /Debit card/Internet Banking. Candidates will have to submit a separate application form for UGEE/ PGEE.

As per the eligibility criteria of College of Biotechnology, DUVASU, candidates need to complete a minimum of Class 12 to apply for UG courses. The minimum aggregate specified is 50%. Hence, aspirants with 60% in Class 12 can get admission provided they also qualify the accepted entrance exam. Besides, there is relaxation in aggregate for SC/ ST candidates.

The university conducts Undergraduate Entrance Examination for a duration of three hours comprising 200 questions. Post Graduate Entrance Examination is a two hour test comprising 200 multiple-choice questions. The syllabus for UGEE is as that of Intermediate of Uttar Pradesh Board/ CBSE or equivalent.
