Angel College of Engineering and Technology (ACET) requires candidates to have passed the 10+2 or equivalent exam with physics, chemistry and mathematics as core topics in order to be eligible for B.E./B.Tech programs. The minimum percentage of marks required by the Tamil Nadu government must also be met by them; this is normally approximately 45% for general categories and somewhat less for reserved categories. Typically the TNEA counseling process is used for admission. Additionally candidates must meet the age requirements and other rules set forth by the Directorate of Technical Education and Anna University.

To be eligible for admission to the BE/BTech course at Angel College of Engineering and Technology (ACET), the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board.   • Students must have passed their 10+2 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics combined.
