To apply for the course need to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
10+2 qualification in any stream,
A minimum aggregate score of 55% (50% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the 10+2 level.
Candidates awaiting their 10+2 examinations results are also eligible to apply on provisional basis.
The written test might be of Objective and/or Subjective-type. General Questions contains questions such as-
General Knowledge
Current Affairs, Popular Media
English Language- Comprehension and Grammar
Case Studies
Social Issues
Politics, Media Issues
Creative Writing etc
Written test is followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview

Hello Asif,
In open universities there is no restriction on admitting students for any course. Since there is no class room, there is no limit on number of students those can be accommodated in the class. So do not worry, if you fill up form, pay requisite fees and submit form to university, your admission is assured provided of course you fulfil other criterias of eligibility.

I don't understand what 'valid by the government' is. NIFT has a diploma program in fashion design and a 6 month certificate course. It hard to say how much you'll earn and how 'practical' it is. You can make uuseful contacts during your time at NIFT and that will help you in earn I guess.

The last admitted rank in NIFT-Patna in 2018 was 567 CMR. I'd say settle for any seat you get and apply till the last round of counselling as your chances are low. You can always work harder in your first year and then transfer to another college provided they have a seat available.
