National Institute of Fashion Technology Patna is a government institution located in Patna. The institute was founded in 2008 and was formerly located in Udyog Bhavan, Gandhi Maidan but shifted to its permanent campus at Mithapur Farms in 2014. No, you can't take direct admission to B.Des at the National Institute of Fashion Technology Patna.
BDes at NIFT Patna is offered in four different specialisations and they are, Accessories Design, Fashion Communication, Fashion Design and Textile Design. The duration of the course is four years and admission to NIFT Patna BDes is done through the NIFT Entrance exam.NIFT Entrance Exam is divided into three parts i.e. Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT) and Situation Test/ Group Discussion, and Personal Interview (GD and PI) round.
