Subsequently, selected candidates can visit the college for document verification. Finally, candidates can secure a seat in the course by paying the course fees.

For admission to the BSc programme at Alpine Group of Institutes, the college accepts both the Class 12 scores and the scores from the CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Candidates must have completed their Class 12 with major subjects in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics, securing an aggregate of at least 50% in their final qualifying examination.  Applicants must submit their Class 12 mark sheets along with their CUET scores when applying.

Candidates will be evaluated based on their Class 12 performance and CUET scores. Additionally, seat allotment will be done according to the merit lists released by the college.

 At the undergraduate level, Dolphin Institute Dehradun offers BCom, BSc, and four-and-a-half-year BPT, and other courses to students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers two-year MSc, MPT,  and MCom courses to students. There is a relaxation in Academic Qualification criteria by 5% for candidates belonging to reserved categories (SC/ST).

The eligibility criteria for admission to these specialisations differs specifically: For taking admission to BSc (Hons.) in Aircraft Maintenace Engineering, candidates should complete Diploma in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics from recognised institution.
