Yes, it is possible to get in DU without CUET. However, this is not applicable for traditional regular UG courses. For most programmes, the university asks for CUET UG or CUET PG score. For courses, such as MBA and Law programmes, the university also considers other exams. Students can also join DU SOL, NCWEB using Class 12 marks and skipping CUET.

While minimum Class 12 are required, DU admissions are not based on a candidate's Class 12 performance. Instead, CUET UG score is the main selection criteria at DU. The higher CUET score, the better chances at top DU colleges. Hence, applicants have to meet the minimum eligibility of 40%-60% depending on the programme.

DTU is indeed a great college for engineering, specially B.Tech. Since it takes students through JEE Mains, the quality of students is also very good.

Being a very old government college, it has gained immense recognition as well. Syllabus is a bit outdated. The subjects in the first year are common for all, irrespective of branches. Classes are held regularly, though there are bunks as well during exams, fests etc.

The professors are well educated, most of them have done PhD. Some of the teachers are good, interesting while some make the subject very boring and dull. Some of them would just copy the things from the book without actually

If candidates have identical Common Rank List (CRL) in JEE (Main) - 2026 Paper-I even after applying NTA's tie-breaking measures, the following order of additional tie-breaking criteria shall be adopted for seat allocation in JAC Delhi:
1. Date of Birth (preference to the elder candidate).
2. Random draw process in case the tie still persists.

DTU offer seats in BTech under JAC counselling.

No, the tier 1 Indian universities like IIT/NIT and DU do not explicitly give any advantage in the academic evaluation at the HU Berlin. Look at the pointers given below -

  • This university operates on a highly standardized and egalitarian evaluation system
  • So, your chances of admission are actually based on the individual curriculum and grades and not on whether your previous degree is from a tier 1 university.
