To be honest, after joining GIBS Bangalore, I realized it was quite different from what I had imagined. I thought it would just be classes, assignments, and exams, but there was always something happening on campus.

A few things that surprised me were:

  • Regular guest lectures where we got to learn from industry experts.

  • Industry visits that gave us a real idea of how companies work.

  • Workshops and activities that made learning more interesting.

  • Internship opportunities during the course.

  • Placement training that started much earlier than I expected.

  • A campus that was always lively with events and student activities.

For me, the biggest surprise w

For me, GIBS Bangalore never felt like a college where you just attend classes and go back home. There was always something going on, so college life stayed interesting and you were constantly learning something new.

What I enjoyed the most was:

  • Industry visits.

  • Workshops and fun learning activities.

  • Placement training.

  • Friendly faculty and a good campus atmosphere.

I think the biggest difference for me was the confidence I gained. I became more comfortable talking to people, working in teams, and trying new things. Looking back, I feel I learned a lot beyond academics, and that's what made my experien

One thing I genuinely liked about GIBS Bangalore was the kind of people you get to meet. Students come from different places, so you end up interacting with people who have different ideas, experiences, and backgrounds. It makes college life much more interesting.

Because at GIBS,

  • Students from different states and cities study together.

  • Everyone gets a chance to take part in events and activities.

  • Group assignments help you connect with new people.

  • Cultural events bring everyone together.

  • The faculty is supportive and treats everyone equally.

I always felt comfortable on campus. It didn't matter where you were from—everyone was friendly,

Yes, doing a professional summer internship is mandatory for all BSc at the SSCBS. To maintain eligibility for the final campus placement, they must complete either a minimum 4-week corporate summer internship or a 6-week faculty research internship during their pre-final year. Students must also submit a detailed internship report to the Career Development Centre to clear their academic and placement criteria.

Yes, SSCBS provides supernumerary seat reservations for top candidates applying through Sports and Extra-Curricular Activities (ECA) quotas in BSc course. If they apply via these paths, their final score is calculated using a mix of CUET entrance score and performance certificates. They will also need to attend physical trials or practical verification rounds arranged by Delhi University.

To be eligible for the SSCBS BSc final merit ranking, candidates must choose one Language from List A + Mathematics or Applied Mathematics + Any two domain subjects. Out of the two domain subjects they pick, at least one must be fom the primary List B1 given by DU. Candidates should note that they can only sit for those specific subjects in CUET that they have officially cleared in Class 12.
