Big Data is a very niche course. GIM will be one of few colleges offering this course. So, by the time a student graduates in 2020, there will be a huge scope for the course.

The calls for PGDM course at GIM are already out. If you have received the call, focus on the steps ahead and once you have offers from both the college's in hand, I guess this comparison would sound better then.

The selection for PGDM- BDA would be profile based, the cutoff for the same hasn't been disclosed by the management.
